Betina Dowdell joined Goldman Sachs in 2017 in the Private Wealth Management area of the Investment Management Division, where she is a Private Wealth Advisor based in New York. Prior to Goldman Sachs, Betina provided structured lending solutions to Financial Institutions and non-profits at Citigroup and served as a Senior Relationship Executive at BNY Mellon covering Institutional Clients. Betina received her MBA from Columbia Business School with a dual-concentration in Finance & Economics and Entrepreneurial Studies. Betina obtained a Masters in Social Work from New York University and also holds a BS in Commerce from the University of Virginia’s McIntire School of Commerce with a major in Management.
Betina is a member of EmpowHer the Women’s Committee of The Apollo Theatre Foundation in New York as well as the UVA Club of New York. Betina enjoys community service and most recently volunteered at the Institute for Family Health in Harlem leading a weekly social skills group for grade schoolers. Betina currently resides in Harlem with her daughter Sydney.
